Saturday Conservatory is your chance to expand your skills! These special classes are only available to students who have completed at least one year of CTC Summer Core Conservatory. Spend time with your friends from the summer and, in addition, expand your knowledge of the theatre world in these action-packed workshops!
Taught by CTC Professionals, classes are offered on Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:30pm
at the CTC Classroom in Sunnyvale. Act soon, space is limited!

October 12 – Stage Make-Up: From A(ngel) to Z(ombie)** : Whether you want to be bloody or beautiful this Halloween, learn theatrical make-up techniques that are sure to get you noticed! **Additional materials fee required.
November 16 – Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance: Learn show-stopping songs and choreography to songs from everyone’s favorite musicals. All levels of experience welcome!
November 23 – Cirque d’Academy: In this all-time favorite class at CTC, combine juggling and tightrope walking and throw in a little clowning and mime. Timing, balance, and hand-eye coordination will be yours!
February 15 – En Garde!: Calling all pirates, hobbits and Avengers! Learn to look cool and stay safe while practicing stage combat techniques in both hand-to-hand “fighting” and “swordplay.”
March 22 – Costume Parade: Think like a costume designer! Develop a pattern and using paper, scissors and glue – along with lots of imagination – create fabulous costumes for a costume parade.
April 5 – Shake It Up with Shakespeare: Learn to love the Bard! In this introductory overview, enact death scenes, sling insults in Old English and play iambic pentameter tag. You’ll become a Shakespeare enthusiast!
April 19 – From Tall Tales to Superheroes: Create archetypal characters from Paul Bunyan to Calamity Jane to Darth Vader to Wonder Woman to Voldemort. Get acquainted with your inner superhero or villain!
May 3 – Saturday Morning Live!: Learn improvisational techniques, how to think fast-on-your-feet and how to create zany characters. The small group scenes in this class promise to be hilarious!
